Springs/Diff oil for Integy Jato Shock?

Hi all

I ordered some integy Jato shocks and I would like to know what springs/oil and piston (2 or 4 hole) y'all are using. My LHS only has 30K and 50K diff oil in stock and from what I have read that is too thick. I have some 20 and 25 lb Revo springs comming as well. I'm hoping you can save me some guess work.

well I dont have a jato shock, but I am running a diratrax Maximum MT shock. It has a 2 hole piston, and I use the 50k wt diff oil. Oh yeah I am also using the stock TT psrings.

I use the 4-hole piston and 7k wt. dif oil. I also run the stiffer spring (red with purple). It works well, but I haven't gotten around to shimming the shock travel properly yet.

Thanks for the replies. I will try to find some 7k diff oil and give it a shot. If not I will try the 30K Traxxas.

I am using 4 hole, 5000wt with red spring in the electrics and 4 hole, 7000wt with blue spring in the nitros. If you are using the TT aluminum bottom mount, a perfect shim is the center plastic frame spacer from a FM-1e, it is 12mm, just drill the center a little bigger to fit the shaft. You will also need to run a 3mm tap in the mount to extend the threads a little, this will allow the mount to screw all the way onto the shaft. The bottom mount supplied with the shock is longer than the aluminum, so a bigger shim, 13-14mm is better if you want to use that. Thses shocks are the best I have ever seen, I can't believe there is an o-ring on the pistion, way cool.
