So broke I can't pay attention
Thanks for the warm welcome, much appreciated. I'm in the process of cleaning up my work area, charging the camera and gathering the necessary tools ect.
I will post pics of my progress as tradition requires.
Thanks again.

We need to see pics of your build(s).. It's part of a tradition on this thread..
Well! I took note of your advice and just went ahead and started cutting parts for two right from the get go.

Got out my sheet of 5.2mm ply and .....

Mwuhahhahahah. Another victim ensnared.

I have some more photo documentation of the build to do, but here is the first run of my Springer on a lake. I'm still working on the several cabins that I'll be using, but here she is, trimmed out and watertight.

Looks like a pair of truck tires (fenders) that think they are still on the road.

No cabins on that photo, those are the covers for the watertight hatches. The cabins are separate assemblies that fit over the hatch covers. The hull is Umi-toss water tight.

D`walt, what happened to the rest of your Dickie Workboat ? I used the superstructure off mine for a still-to-be-finished stretched Springer. I`ll have to search for the pics, it is so long ago..!

So broke I can't pay attention
I've been out of work for almost a year now, and as soon as I started my Springer project, the company I used to contract for called me in to do some temp work. So it's seems building a Springer has brought me some good luck already. It's a Marine related business and my work is design/fabrication related, on the webpage http://www.dsms1.com/Dynamic_Seawall...ce_System.html they have pics of the model I built for trade shows, click on 'how it works' and 'faq'.
Anyway I have made a little progress on my Springer/s,

Still a long way to go, but they're getting there.

Glad to hear that they called you back but sorry to hear that it is putting a cramp on your build. The Mrs. lost her job Friday, had been there for 13 years.
