A 25 x 20 Push Boat with a retractable pilot house, something I haven’t seen done on a “Springer” yet.

can you land on that ?
Draven you should be told that the April Fool jokes only apply on 1st of that month. Your attempt to fool us with pictures of your Springer on post#7576 just doesnt work. I also think you must be pretty good at Photoshop, even putting two figures in the pilot-house of your otherwise convincing models. Elevating pilot-house is I`m sure on Toesup`s list of "will do`s". The Rhine pusher tug "Egret" had this feature and was modelled a few years ago, one of the UK magazines had/has a plan for it. (Good pics thanks for posting them)

Ah Man! Arrow you caught me I thought I could sneak one past ya, hehe…

I’ve seen pictures of the “Egrete” that’s a nice model, but its not a “Springer“. I think someone just posted some pictures of their build in a different thread somewhere here in the forum.

I think toesup has us all beat, he is a man with a mission to build every kind “Springer” imaginable.

Your welcome for the pictures.

Nooooo.. not me!.

I'm still leaving lot's of un-built Springer's for others to build.

Although i think there are still a couple of ideas floating round in my head... and some about Springer's too..

Give him time. He'll relent and build one.

That's MY problem. I have to move them from "floating around in my head" to floating around at Hanson Dam.

Wow. I just spent the past 5 hours going through all, well not all, I never got to the end of all the photos. I was not interested in building a springer tug. Well now I am. I cannot wait to get started.

Sincerely,
Karl in Colorado

Well if you are feeling ambitous (or not getting eyestrain yet) both MBM, and WMU have springer threads though not quite as long or as expert (in my opinion, mostly due to people like Ami and Toes) as this one.
