I lived on a barracks barge while we were in the shipyard (it sucked, no air conditioning in Norfolk in the summer time).

Geeses are cute. Goose by-products are not. Keeps you on you toes, galoshes may be an option...

I like geese, they have their place and they usually stay there. If the geese are affecting you then your in their place.

Cheers,

Firehose worked pretty good to keep them off the roof of the barracks barge, and helped get it a little cooler.
Norfolk only has three seasons; Spring and Fall only last about a week apeice (so they are one), and then there is too d*mned hot, and too d*mned cold.

Springer 'Olava' of Oslo

Here is some pictures of my first Springer. The superstructure is inspired by a ferry the family use to get out to my family-in-laws summer house. My two daughters (2 and 4 years) are helping me with painting and some design issues, and they are now pushing me on making windows, crane, lifeboats and the other stuff that's missing.

The lakes in the area are still frozen, so we took the first trials at the sea. This was done on Saturday and everything worked fine until the batteries went out a little to early. It is still snow on the beach, but i had no choice but take of my clothes and go for a swim. The air temperature was around 0 (Celsius) and water temp around 7. Pretty cold, but the crowd on the beach had great fun.

During the Easter holidays we are going to the summer house, and the Springer is coming to so it can meet the original ferry. Hopefully we get some good pictures of them together.

Pale Horse Now that's dedication to do a retreive in that kind of weather. Your Springer is looking pretty good, but the girls are right in that the details are always missing something. You are never done with a boat, just get to the point of "It's good enough for me!".

Hmmm... you'd think laser kits would be less expensive than that.

Interesting though... bery einterestink.
