Question

Mosfet on Lama 4-in-1

Hi! I've my Lama V3 for a couples of months now and it's still in one piece. It's a great heli for beginners for sure. Anyway, I came across an weird item on ebay of a 4-in-1 with multiple mosfets. The seller claims it improves handling and power. Has anyone out there tried this? Thanks.

Actually, I would like to see if any electronic guru up here can explain the benefit of doing so.

guessing here but I'm thinking it is set up like that to better withstand the high voltage/amps/whatever when you lock-up the blades with the throttle open...

but just a guess (never let the lack of knowledge keep you from guessing)

I can easily see the current handling advantage to stacking these, but I would be concerned about loading the turn on signal (RDSon). I haven't checked data sheets yet but plan to. If it's being sold like this there must be some posts that substantiate its operability.

Piling on the mosfets is a good thing.........it just raises the current handling........and takes very little gate current to operate.........but it cost a lot more unless you get them cheap in large quantities..........and your eyesight and soldering have to be good as well......I have made a number of my own esc's.......but prefer to buy them now since everything went SMT.......micro serface mount technology.....
