maybe that is an great idea too...unfortuantly there is no other way in this harrier project, i need those edf.. i have treid to take off without any additional edf succesfully but it resulted in weak pitch momentum. i increased the bleeding air channels but that gave alot of thrust loss, 160 amps during hover without a harrier body. Those 2 little edf helps with T-Vector, and reduce the amps to 75A . lets see in the coming 2 weeks

weight including lipos, landing gear ect 6,2 KG....still too heavy but we should have 10kg trust...lets see........

And 6,2kg is a great result considering the whole list of parts..

I'm so happy, weight without lipos 4 kg exact...amazing. watching this model for the last hour now:P Today i installed side wheels, rudder and flaps. tomorrow i will add the ailrons and wiring all together to the KK2.1 board

Awesome got the first hops:P 6,2 kg 12s 4000 and 3s 4300 for the small edf units. from now on alot of tuning

Tuning this complete build model is difficult!! i used to tune a simple testframe and settings are easy like an drone, now i have to fight the mass of this bird

It is moving slower but basics are same. More gain until it oscillate. If you not reach oscillation then you have not enough control power.

Exactly, i have reached occilations, tuned it back but than i had less controll going to put bigger edf in nose and tail for better momentum in pitch and yaw
