Used to fly is more accurate, I lost it to control failure a few years ago.

It flew very slowly and tended to wander about a lot. Control was wing warping, tailplane warping and all-moving rudder. Climb was poor but sufficient and in general it behaved much as the original must have done.

Gave me much flying pleasure during the few years I owned it, the plans are now available from Nexus in the UK.

Here are some more for you:

1912 Fokker Spin, 1/3 scale

Bristol M1b, 2/7 scale

Sopwith Pup, 1/4 scale

Sopwith F1 Camel, 1/6 scale

DH 60G Gipsy Moth, 1/3 scale

Spitfire Mk.Vc, 1/5 scale

Wow - you seem to be doing exactly the sort of stuff that I wanted to get into when I first started this whole thing. Is this your subject - WW1 scale? It must be extremely difficult, but lots of fun too.

Where do you get the plans/kits/ideas from?

Caudron, Fokker Spin and Bristol M1b are my own designs. Sopwith Pup and Spitfire are modified from DB Models kits. Camel is a modified VK kit.

Yes they are great fun and not as difficult as you might expect.

Well... here's my plane

It may seem simple for many of you, but I'm proud of it. It is my first kit (I only did ARFs before this)

Here's a ARF P-51 parked by "Old Blue' that one of the Sunday flyers that I fly with has. Its one fine flying aircraft and this was after flight #2 when he started to stop shaking and landed. He still has to finish the decals and put the pilot in the plane.

Does it count if my plane won't fly?

Here is my plane that wouldn't fly. It was my first attempt to design a plane.
