MS Composit Maxi Swift

Has anyone had experience with MS Composit's Maxi Swift wing?
http://www.mscomposit.com/airplanes/...ft-speedy.html

How about their Swift II?

Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.

~We still haven't seen any maxi swift's in the UK. The swift and swift II we have had for some time. IMHO they are one of the best (if not the best) wing freely available in the UK. Even with a basic 300 geared set up on AAA nimh's they were brilliant fun. But with a brushless AXI 2208-20 or eflite Park370 1360KV on 3S lipo's they are simply stunning. Easily capable of continuous rolling circuits, rolling loops, very tight nimble flying. They thermal well even in light lift too. They definatley gets my thumbs up.

I have a swift II, powered by a himark 4100 brushless, a bit on the heavy side as only my 1500 1S3P kokam delivers enough amps to turn a 4.5x3 gws hd prop.
Screams up vertically when I want, ignores wind and is vitually indestructable.
My son got disoriented, dove in vertically and only cut power 2 meters above the ground. 10 grams of epoxy later to mend a small crack next to the motormount and it flies again.

Launched the boomerang way at half throthle it is really easy to get it in the air.

Deecee and Yco.

Thanks for the replies so far.

Monas-
Yes, they are available to the U.S. but I don't know if they are available from within the U.S. I was quoted shipping as ~$12 for the Maxi Swift and the Blade Dancer with it taking around 10 days for receipt. You can contact MS Composit via email: jjezek@mscomposit.com

Monas,
Would you mind if I "take a page from your book"? The boss, umm, I mean wife is already questioning the eleven unbuilt kits I have in a closet, but maybe if I remind her of the new car she's getting in a few months I can sneak a couple of these wings past her.

One other general question for those of you who have the swift II, is it painted on both sides and would you mind sharing your power train/battery setups with us?

Thanks again,
Greg

The swiftII is painted topside only

As above my favourite setups are actually very similar

Eflite Park370 1360kv 3S1P 800 Flightpower 7X5 or 8x4 APCE

Axi 2208-20 6x4 or 7x4 APCE

Same battery

BTW there are only three glued joints, so you could build it in the car on the way home before the wife Kows its another kit :-)
