The bodies you're making look great , nice work. How much heavier are they compared to a stock canopy?

Id have to weigh them but the BCP and the CP2 will have no problems hauling these. I put my OH-58 Kiowa D body on my CP2 with armament and it weighs in at 400 grams(The whole heli ready to fly). The Kiowa body with armament weighs about 80 grams by itself. The New 119 Koala weighs in at 53 grams. Im running everything mostly stock except battery. Im using the $19.99 3s lipo 1300 MAh packs from Helidirect. The battery itself weighs 100 grams. But the heli does fly nicely with the added weight. You can say, it flys scale like.

Hey Darth- do you have to slide said battery all the way forward to balance it out? Those stacks look pretty sharp, is the 206 available on your website yet? I'm goin gto go take a look right now.
cheers

There is plenty of room for battery placement. To actually answer the question, it probably depends on the battery. Im using the $19.99 1300 mah Lipos from helidirect and I do notice that I have to mount the battery forward more that with just a canopy. Using velcro, battery placement is a breeze. Not yet available on my site yet. Should have it up there soon.

Sweet man, lookin gforward to it. Looking at getting into a hornet to do scale with, so with the 206's TR placement directly down the boom (ie not elevated. ) it shouldn't be too hard to stick in there. Looks great, though, man, as a fuse. Your work is the finest I've seen out there in this market.

I gotta admit thats kinda ugly, I mean wires everywhere, big stack on the top, it just looks weird.
