Hi Herb,

You have some very nice looking jets. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a Jepe F-16 and wondering how you like yours compared to your other models? By the way, yours looks great in the Thunderbirds scheme.

Thanks,
Brian

One of the best flyer I've ever had, and a very high performance airframe.

But it's really a bungee only plane! And good eyesight is a must, esp. for semi-scale paint schemes (grey, white etc) since it gets small very very quickly .

Thanks for the info Herb. I plan on placing an order for one soon. I realize it is strictly a bungee plane.

With the speeds this thing is pushing I'm sure it does get small very quickly. How do you consider the Thunderbirds scheme from a visability standpoint? I'd really like to do the T-Birds as well. I'd prefer a USA theme (what better than T-Birds!) but I also like the Singapore Demo scheme with more red for better viz...

Thanks for the info!

The TB's scheme is ok for visibility on a blue sky or cloudy background - it stands out quite well esp. with the blue bird on the underside.

... but I flew it once in the central valley at an event (visalia), there the sky was a milky white (haze) and it was awful, I was shocked at how hard to see it was :eek

The physiology of the human eye is such that the best colors end up being red and yellow, you can see those a mile away. Contrast between top and bottom is a must too.
