It's covered

When Paul yesterday said to me, that it was day he would iron the oracover on,
because something has to finished, I thought he was kidding...
Nope, he was not.
He has quite some skills in covering and did a great job on the wing, even though he hates ironing,
while I took the winglets and was close to desperation in the atempt to cover them by myself.
CG of the wing itself (without any batteries and motor) is almost the supposed CG to fly.
Today we have scheduled to maiden it as a glider.
Will weigh about 370g or so, less than half as much as the powered version.
Less chance to damage it during the first flights, as we hope.
Another reason is of course our impatience.

That flying wing is my own design.
There's just the prototype existing yet, the one on the pics.
Cores for some more are already cut from blue foam.
A buddy and I are perhaps going to sell some sheeted cores or something like that.
But it won't be exactely ARF .

And, yes, it's designed for Speed.
We even intend to stirr up the pot of Turn Lefts in the F5D Limited Class .

Very clean German you speak.
Sounds like you spent some years around here?

Well, it has to be at least 100mph to beat the Turn Lefts .

You might want to check out my next blog entries on the testing.

Perhaps it would be more wise to start one thread on the developement of this wing,
remind every entry I make in my blog is the first post of a new thread.
That makes it scattered and maybe hard to find.

But where should I post it instead?

biber *wondering*
