Mrs Gambler,

How is Mr Gambler doing? I hope quite well.

Rumors of my demise were exaggerated. I'm back to work part time, recovering mostly well. I'll be launching DLG this spring again! My vocal nerves were damaged in the surgery, but hopefully that will sort itself out.

Thanks to all who've expressed well wishes and concerns.

Allan

Plenty of us still build and fly Gamblers!!

Mine is beat to hell and still going strong.

Any advice that you need, ask away, and the Gambler community will jump right in!

I wouldn't worry about the previous threads! This thread has everything that you would need to know about building this plane.

The Gambler has been well developed, and there is little to do other than to build it.

If you want, you can read every post in this thread -- something that I did before I built mine, and from there you will learn that the design is well honed.

However, my advice is to just dive right in, follow the directions, and post any questions that you have.

It's likely to be true that your questions have been previously posted and answered, but going through all 4300+ posts to find your answers might be intimidating. Just go ahead and ask, and we'll guide you in the build.

BTW Allan has been a wonderful resource for me in my Gambler and other builds.

True. Allan will answer questions if you email him. I did it frequently.

Mark, on my 2nd Gambler I glued the tail on crooked. I think I messed up the wing too.

I'm still alive. As long as I'm alive I'll be flying Gamblers.
