For those who are interested, Gambler kits are back in stock at Wright Brothers. FYI, I am having major surgery on October 22nd and will be out of commission for quite a while. I've packaged up a goodly supply of kits, which Mrs. Gambler will ship while I'm recovering from surgery. If those should happen to sell out, no more are likely to be made before Christmas. My recovery is estimated at 6-8 weeks.

Allan,
I hope the surgery goes well and the healing is pain free and restful.
I will not ask on the forum but hope the issue is not an ongoing one.

Mrs Gambler, feed him some nice chicken soup and get him back to healthy for everyone.

My best wishes to you,

Stocker (Mike Baker) (Boomerwankanobi)

The color of the chicken soup does matter. Avoid green or purple soup.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, and the advice about avoiding the green and purple soup....although I think I might have done that anyways :-)

Surgery is Monday. Last kits will ship tomorrow. After that WBRC will be shut down for a week while I recover. After that Mrs. Gambler will be able to ship orders out.

Allan,

All the best and I hope things go well. Would you see if Mrs. Gambler would post here and let us know how you're doing?

Great plan Alan, keep Mrs. Gambler busy while you chase the nurses!
Here's wishing you a speedy recovery.

Best WIshes!!!

We don't know each other, but have enjoyed the support you have shown on the forum for your Gambler kit. I ordered one this week, and looking forward to getting my hands dusty. Thanks in advance for what I am sure will be an awesome DLG experience!
Warm Regards,
Chris

Thanks for the order Chris. I shipped your kit already, so you have no worries about our short shut down for the surgery.

It never rains, it pours. Somehow my website's domain expired on October 16th. I've just renewed the domain, but it will take a few hours for the renewal to propagate to the whole world.

Gambler on Deck!

Allen,

Thanks brother, Gambler arrived today! When my wife asked what was in the box, I told her it was a glider I ordered so my son and I could build it together. I quickly called my son into the room, and had him open it. So, the moral of the story is, think quick and include your son or daughter when questioned about an unexpected delivery!

Best Regards,

Chris.

Hi
One question about putting carbon on down side of trailing edge (as manual said)
Which glue You use for this: CA or epoxy.
Trailing edge is light balsa. I think it is possible carbon to deform (curve) balsa trailing edge if not put clean.
thanks
boris
