Has anyone converted the Ultimate biplane (simple series) to electric.. Im going to try but cant decied what power combination to use. Suggestions welcomed.

At almost 400 sqin wing area and ~30ozs it should be a good candidate. Keep us posted...

We are building two of them one with the standard ply peices and another with traced balsa, Im doing the ply and a friend is doing the balsa. I have drilled as many litening holes as i can and its still heavier than the balsa fuse with no holes. It should be interesting.

Sounds like a 10-cell project to me.
