It is neat Tom. It's kinda like running a movie real slow or reading a book real fast. I have my grandfathers old Kodak 8mm movie projector where you can control the speed of the film a bit. Grandfather used to crack us kids up by making people run fast or walk slow in the movie with the control. Maybe I'll make an 8mm out of this and run it slow on the old projector. Ha! Pete

Pete, if you really want to see it slow, download the video to your computer hard drive. Then load the video in your video editor. You should have "Windows Movie Maker". All PC's with Windows operating systems have it. In the video editor, find the tool for video speed and then slow it down, real slow. That way you can see each pic longer, and you can also pause if you like.

I was at the dam today for a couple of hours. Heard the birds and saw a couple of ducks. As I was leaving Brad and Jay were rigging up some dirty laundry.

Mini Report

The usual suspects were at Hansen for Violator Saturday. I will leave the official report to the man who does it best, Rikyrik.

I brought out my vintage Kyosho 4x4 Chevy truck and a Traxxas Summit.

The Kyosho ran around and it was cool to see it in action. Like watching a Model T Ford.

The Summit, which is normally a beast, was only a statue today. Radio problem. Again. For the umpteenth time. Traxxas makes great vehicles, but I think their 2.4G system is hurtin'.......

One of the coolest things I saw was Gary's scratch built tool box. On wheels. That drives. Looks like a tool truck, and so it actually holds his tools, props, etc. Very, very cool. I have only see one other like it, and I saved the photos of it from long ago. It was designed as a pit box for model airplanes.

Someone asked to borrow a set of batteries, and it turned out they were the wrong size. Let out lots of magic smoke!

As soon as I got on the freeway home and got up to speed, brake lights were lighting up and cars were swerving around. Got stopped for about 10 minutes before traffic moved again. Just happened to have my point and shoot camera on the seat.

Ya that ruined their day. Looks like a Beamer too.Ouch! The Oops picture says it all. Fried wires and the cooler isn't working so good. What? No boats? The HDI is going to hell in a hand basket. Pete
