Now here is a bit of an open question for the guys who have scale fishing craft. Has anyone made a boom to simulate what a lot of watermen are doing now that they cannot fish? My daughter asks almost every day what the fishermen are doing since they cannot fish, why they are out there?

... Nice Pictures! The 12 is lookin' awsome. I couldn't make it today. Drove the boss around town today. Maybe this Saturday. Gonna have to put my 50" SHADOW back on the water after that.

We wuz lookin' fer ya Larry!

The weather was really nice today. Sunny, a nice breeze blowing, and temps around 80F.

The lake was mostly deserted except for us. Kinda nice!

I arrived late and d'walt, Brooklyn, and another guy were packin' it up and leaving.

So that left me, Kim, Pat, Brad, and Rich. Then a little bit later the "Mysterious Blogger" came along with the big boat he has been posting pictures of.

The big news of the day was the maiden voyage of the rebuilt Newport 12 gigantic sheetboat. Woodybob did an awesome job of the refurb. Took all morning to rig it and then it set sail a little after Noon. Sausage Dog was barking at avidjeepr about "trim this, suck this in, let that out, etc" it was funny as heck.

MB (mysterious blogger) had the humongous puffer, canal boat, or whatever the heck it is. It's a WIP and looks pretty neat. Takes everything including the kitchen sink for ballast!

AAA Brad had a new mini-cat fast electric and with the wind and chop it was catching air all the time and looked really crazy as it flew around the water.

Woodybob was tuning up his Chris-Craft because it will be in a Warner Bros television show next week.

Pics coming soon.......

Awesome pics and report Tom.

The jib sail ripped a bit on the Newport, but was going to have new sails made because they looked pretty fragile.

Missed ya out there Prop'r.
