We have a club here in Cleveland. North Coast Electric Flyers -- or NCEF. Here's our club page on RCG. We fly at a nice park in Sagamore Hills every Sunday morning (once the weather gets decent. Usually from sunrise to early afternoon. There's somewhere in the ballpark of 15-20 of us. Casual and unofficial. Great folks and a great time. Come on up and join us.

The Toledo show is next weekend. It's huge. http://www.toledoshow.com/

In Grove City, there's a flying field owned by TORKS. It's mostly gas powered planes tho. But fun to go watch. http://www.torks.com/

And in the winter, the Columbus Indoor Flying Association holds fly-ins about every other Saturday from 9pm to midnite. Only requires being an AMA member and a $10-$20 fee depending on how many show up.

The dates for next year should get posted in the "CIFA Info" section on the JR Festival site: http://www.jriefestival.com/

As Matt mentioned come up and join us at Sagamore park. It is just off of I-271, close to Macedonia, Ohio. We had our first get together yesterday since the weather turned nice. I can give you some directions if you PM me.

Also:
Hubbard near Youngstown is having an E-fly June 25th.

Ravenna club is having an electric glider event August 26. Just a little ways east of Akron.

The annual XFC is June 16-18, 2006 in Troy, Ohio. Good time by all.
My 2 cents.
