new pic, same plane....

a 75% wing would make a 23.25inch wingspan just so you know. that would be sclose enough I would think, and its much easier than the 77.45% to get it even closer to the specific dimension....

[QUOTE=you can scale it by just taking the dimensions of each part and scaling them down by a certain percentage. you would take the 31inch wingspan and find the percentage that makes 24inch and then use the same percentage to scale down the other dimensions of the templates.[/QUOTE]

It seem that if I do scale it down that way, the wing tip cord will become very small, or am I just thinking crazy?

it shouldn't, take all the dimesnions and multiply each by 0.75 and write them down on a small drawing, then measure each out in the template as you would with the normal one. the tip will be smaller, but thats because the whole plane is!:P

Man this plane is super fast. I got a chance to fly yesterday. Dead calm. . I will have to trade out the foam elevons for balsa, Because at top speed I have no input at all, straight ahead thats it.it's a good thing it tracks true. Like i said it's fast. I can keep up with my brothers Stryker. And he uses a four cell battery. with that stock brushless that comes with the plane.

Not CDR, but gobrushless. Just keep the windings tight. Do your home work on what speed and amps and prop you want to play with. And thats about it. What this is, is a gobrushless double, wound 5T of 22AWG terminated in wye. it pulls 21amps static with a 6x4 APC prop and a 2200mah 20c 3s1p.

I have built up to a 60" wing with 950Kv motor, wing will go vertical if you can keep it on a line. I used 1250mah 3cell pack with mine, but as long as your using a 3cell you should be okay just shorter flight time, and slightly less power than I had with mine.
These wings are great fun to fly.

cool myn's about 60" too. This motor doesn't seem to have much RPM. Perhaps my batteries dead though.

PbIII is what i use because i cant find the "real" blu-cor. I havent had any problems with it, but i guess it is more brittle because it will snap if you bend it one way, yet bend if you push it away from the covered side. Either way, it's still good stuff.

Just my $.02
