I have read about the importance of main gear to pinion mesh, but, how are you to set this up right when the gear runs concentric to the main shaft? Viewing from the bottom, powered up, the main gear oscillates a good mm or more from true center. Installed a new shaft and gear and it did the same thing.

ok so on my 4 in 1 i have turned the transmitter on, then pluged in the battery.... will it not turn green, if I don't have blades on the heli?

Aftica, thanks for the gear info...please, one more question. Are those factory settings for sea level density altitude? A few thousand feet can really make quite a difference in such a small machine.

My first question about the gear mesh was just answered thanks guys,

My second is, how far can i go with the stock battery, can i put symetrical blades on it? and a motor/pinion upgrade? or am i stuck with what i have until i get LiPos

thanks, I sort of figured that, Lipos kind of scare me, i dont want to burn anyhting,

but i guess in time it will be the way to go

One more question, How much wear or "play" is acceptable on the linkages on the swash plate, They seem kind of slopy but maybe im just too pikcy

I keep on going to the hobby shop hoping they have a never flwon before demo model to see how much more sloppy mine is, but they dont,

I noticed the replacement tail support has a "fin" on it, is it better or worse or no effect.

It is a fun machine, i have over 100 batteries through it all in the hover with a little forward movement, too bad my apartment wasnt bigger, all of this on the original motor's i guess luck is on my side

My BCP has the symm woodies, the stock 10 tooth pinion, and when I fly the stock NiMh, it hovers for about three minutes. Get a lipo. Question- with the 11 toother anda 2S batt, can you fly symmetricals?
