So are you shipping it out to me Reed? We'll get some airtime on her/him/it (???) in Texas!

The Dom safely arrived in San Antonio TX. Time to get the locals together to fly it.

Not yet, it has been HOT AS HADES here. The wind, few and far between in the past week or so, feels like a blast furnace. She will be flown soon by numerous Texas slope rats. Pics and video will be taken. From every TX Slope Rat, I will collect $5, and get them to document the log book. I will then donate the excess fundage past shipping cost to the next recipient, toward the Eric Molstead Foundation. Part of this process requires me to drive to Austin to hit the Rats up there as most are too chicken or can not acquire the necessary kitchen pass to come down to the Quarry to fly

So who is the next person in line? Jackonator aka Mr. EPP aka Mr. LEG, expressed an interest. Or is there a person in line that I should know about?

James,

Glad you got the gusto in it! Make sure to em me a pic for the map, OK? A raw jpg (w/ exif) to ajroahkni@netscape.net - thanks!

If you could get it to kansas, that'd be awesome...I think that the Pacific NW guys expressed some interest way back when, but you should send it where you feel best about it. Maybe those in Idaho, too?

Anyway, I hope you get some good air and lots of pilots to waggle the sticks!

John

edit - I took a look at a map of the USofA...KS is like almost right above TX - who'd a thought? Maybe those guys in OKC first to save on some postage?

Turn up the heat!!!!!

This idea has kinda lost it's fire. We should see if there is something we can do to get people excited about it. I think there is a list of people who wanted to fly it on the original thread. Check the first few pages of this thread for a link to the original.

Hopefully the Admiral can get tote the Dom along with him to CO and then on to Soar Utah with me next weekend. The CO boys are still interested in the whole idea.

I second it! though I would not be a good 'host' candidate considering my sched.. but maybe you could host it Mike, you were the first of us to post. Ill bet Admiral Red has your shipping. I haven't read ALL the posts yet but it would seem you're patiently awaiting shipment

She was'nt in too bad of shape when I sent her to Reed. The question is how bad was she when she left . So how about it Reed........did she take enough hits is it time to change the wardrobe?

Hey, she's out of my hands now!

Actually, the Dom only took one hit but it was a good one. She was DSing and at one point there was an IPI (Intense Planetary Impact). She shrugged it off and kept on flying but there was an SNA (Slight Nose Abrasion) requiring no surgery.
