DOM - Peruvian report (part 1)
First, I want to APOLOGIZE to everyone for the delay. Had some personal issues that I had to solve...
Anyway, here is the first report on the Dom....
The plane arrived in very good condition. I was a little bit afraid about customs opening the box and damaging the plane, but everything went better than expected (except for the long process!).
After opening the box and inspecting the plane, everything looks OK. I am cycling the batteries tonight to make sure that they are still OK and will be heading to our "local" slope tomorrow to fly the Dom. I have called all my RC Sailplane friends to join me tomorrow. It should be a fun day and I'll make sure to take good pics!
On Sunday and the beginning of next week, I will be flying the Dom in different regions of Peru. Some of them are desert areas and others are full of vegetation.
I will post a flight report tomorrow and one next week.
Please let me know where should I ship the plane next... any voluntaries? It should be ready to go by the end of next week.
