And who did it go to?
It needs to be in Italy for a big slope event in June.

I believe it went to Jdemery? And Wales is between NI & Italy, so it's heading in the right direction!

Perhaps we need somebody co-ordinating the route?

That was me, but things got out of hand and people where sending it to whoever was on the list.
So I am trying to get it back on some sort of route now, which is why it is to make its way to lucam in Italy before June.

Right - I have a suggestion.
Let John and his school lads fly it and I will collect. I know John and fly with him regularly on his home slopes.
I will give it a service. Cycle the batteries - patch up the covering, check the electronics, make new tip fins if required and generally give it a good going over like I did last time before it went to France. I'll also stick it in the magazine again to show the world we're still doing it.
The 'Dom' was in the UK for over a year BUT it was a busy model and flew 20+ slopes. You'd have to look a long way back in the thread to see the pictures.
Glenn - When I have it you can send me the address in Italy and I will ship it onwards to the slope event.
John - Please do not send it on to anyone else. Drop me a line when you have it.
The Dom is Zippers idea, Zippers model and Zippers programme. AND remember that they who fly it should be paying to the Charity.

This OK with you Glenn? If not, say so and John can ship it to Italy.

That would be great Andy, it's probably overdue for its 1000000 mile service.
It wasn't really my idea, there was a number of people that all had a hand in its birth.
If it needs any major parts let me know and I will send them over.

Well the Dominator has arrived in North Wales, all looks well and we will hopefully get some gear in her tonight. Typically the winds are very calm at the moment so it looks like we won't get to fly it until the weekend - next week looks a lot better.

Good stuff John. Don't forget pictures.

Hi John , glad the DOM arrived with you ok.
You will need to center your aileron servos on your TX as who ever installed the servos , they must have missed doing this at the time of installation.
The RX, NIMH battery was recycled.
You also need quite a bit of up elevons for normal level flight.
Again maybe a little tail heavy.
The buzzer is an additional tracking device so donot get alarmed.
Enjoy your flying and we wish you well with the DOM.

Richard
