I hadn't looked at this kit in a long while, but a close inspection of the plastic tail half showed a fine line crack. I informed the buyer and we agreed to cancel the sale. It's not a big problem for me if I were to build it, but this was not how I presented my NIB sale.
I'm gonna try to find a replacement tail.

I've asked the moderators to delete this thread, or I'll mark it as sold.

Why not just reduce the asking price to reflect the true condition of the kit?

Interesting. Then it might be worth even more if the kit's restored.

I'll hang onto it and see if I can correct the condition. Thanks Billy, appreciate the offer.

He offered your asking price and now you're second guessing that it may be worth more ????

Why is it that you were asking $200 for the kit, then you find out that it has a damaged part in the kit?????? I offer you the $200 for the kit the way it is (with the damaged part), so that you won't have to spend hours trying to find the the new new part that you might not ever find?????? I think something is just a little fishy here???????? COME ON DAVID!!!!

DO I SMELL FISH?

I was the first to take it for the full $200.

Described on the telephone as mint condition as he went through the kit.

Many PM's followed, shipping and price were confirmed.

....then I get a phone call saying there is a very long crack along the bottom of the aft fuselage.

...so this "part", otherwise known as 1/2 the fuselage...you may be able to locate another that hasn't found itself cracked?!?

Hmmmmmm.

Mason.
