Fun Fly Syracuse NY 7/20-21/02

The Voltaires of Central New York will be holding their 14th
annual all Electric Fun Fly on Saturday and Sunday, July 20 & 21. The event, as always, is at Grenadiers field, Caughdenoy New York, about 12 miles north of Syracuse. This is one of the biggest all electric events in the Northeast and draws from Ontario and Quebec as well. The entry fee which includes lunch for the pilots, is $10 per day or $15 for both days. Camping is available on site as well as a brand new "Dual, Ladies & Gentlemen, Tiled" outhouse. Lots of grass, 150' paved runway& Clubhouse. New for
this year is Park Flyer Pylon racing PLUS the local indoor club is
welcoming us to their site Saturday night. This is the place where
Clarence Hurd developed the RFS-100 and Li'l Skeeter. The field will be open on Friday evening for early arrivals. Leaflets with maps to the site are available.
