Forum Posting Guidelines and transaction policies - Please read before posting

There have been many posts in the For Sale/Wanted Forum by members who don't accurately complete the SUBJECT box. This is the field that creates the link that you click on to get to the thread. Please try to use these simple abbreviations to aid everyone in surfing the For Sale/Wanted forum.

FS--for sale
FT--for trade
FS/FT--for sale or trade
WTB--wanted to buy
WTT--wanted to trade

Also include the item. If it's many items, then provide a short list (i.e. "FS: Motors, Props, Batteries, etc.")

POSTING GUIDELINES (not all-inclusive):

- This forum is for the sale and trade of Electric Flight related items ONLY. There are other forums on this board for selling cars, boats, etc. If you want to trade an R/C car for E-Flight items, please post in the appropriate forum. NO non-RC related items will be posted to this board. **PLEASE use PMs or email whenever possible to keep the discussion traffic to a minimum. Threads that do not comply with the above will be closed or removed**

- When selling here, include an asking price for your items. If you're not sure of their value, also put "OBO" (or best offer) in your post. Auctions will not be allowed.

-We are not in the business of advertising for auctions therefore the moderators will close all Ebay ads as they are seen.

- Instead of deleting the items listed in your threads as they are sold, let's simply annotate a *SOLD* next to the item leaving the price that it was sold for. This will enable members to use your threads for reference in the future when considering buying and selling e-flight items.
When your transaction is complete, don't forget to log your experience in the Trader Rating system located at the top of the forum.

- You will be allowed two (2) “bumps” within your FS thread. Further “bumps” will result in the post(s) being summarily deleted or the thead closed by the moderator(s) at their discretion without notice. A "bump" is defined as a post that contains no added pertinent information (price drops, pics, etc.) and is intended to merely bring the post to the top of the forum list.

Thank you!

Responsibilities: Forum Moderators and Users

Here at RCGroups we work hard to maintain a site that is safe and comfortable for all ages and sensitivities. The For Sale forums are different in that money and goods are exchanged. The moderators are present to maintain RCgroups' Forum Policies in that we shall treat each other courteously and with respect. That said...

The moderators in For Sale are here for that reason, not to ensure that transactions go smoothly. YOU, the forum user are responsible for your own transactions. YOU are the one spending your hard-earned money or making that trade. "CAVEAT EMPTOR" or "BUYER BEWARE" is the watch term for this forum. As stated in the forum description, "Note: assumes no responsibility for transactions that take place via this forum." The moderators will step in to ensure that the site policies are maintained. If you make the deal and it goes sour, YOU alone must bear that responsibility and work to correct it in a civil manner. The moderators will not be able to help in this matter. Do your homework BEFORE you hit that SEND button at PayPal and increase your odds of success.

Good luck and good trading!

ATTN: Buyers Sellers and Traders... Rating Feedback system is live!

All For Sale feedback will now be done via the Trader Rating feedback system.

Under each user name in the for sale forum ads you will see a Trader rating followed by a number. If you click on the feedback number you will be taken to the Trader rating page for that user where you will be able to post feedback for that user. The feedback page can also be viewed from a users profile. The feedback page is self explanatory. This Trader rating system is available for ALL For Sale forums. Feedback is only to be used for transactions that take place here in the RCgroups For Sale forums.

RCgroups policies concerning language and content are applicable to feedback so lets keep it clean We hope this will make your time here in the For Sale forums a more enjoyable experience.

Any comments or suggestion should be directed to this thread in Site Suggestions
