click documents and then "untitled" pics.
Its a BV 215 sporting field applied camo.
50 to 55 oz depending on battery, two square feet of wing. RDTF 480 powered. It will need a bunge hook :-(

Bruce, Jim Keihl has flown this plane with a td.o9 and a morley fan. If you have trouble he could probably give guidance. He has emailed ezone before. Great job.

Nice model... Silent Flight Mag in Nov 95 had a construction article on the same model. I've been meaning to build one of theirs for some time. At 30.5" span their prototype weighed 3 lbs using a 540vz and 10 1000scr's and an EJT fan (minifan's father)it flew well , accelerating from a handlaunch. With a different battery giving a weight of 3lbs 10oz it required a bungee and was not as easy to fly.
Not being able to determine your models span , I suspect that more power may be required.. certainly at 55oz!! anyhow looks good, hope it flies as well.
PS am actually more interested by your blue (alfa?)

He is using a RDTF480 (Ralf D.) . It is a inline twin fan with two motors...... he should be fine. With a singe MF480....I would be a little concerned.

Bare, this one is a little bigger, the w.s. is 36" not counting the tip stabilizers, with those counted in that would make it 45" and over two and a quarter sq. feet.
.. alfa, yes it is an older alfa,'62. it's become my other hobby, it too has a small engine that has to rev out to perform.:-)

Greetings!

Great looking model - look forward to hearing the flight reports. Your Me262s look very good as well - are they the HobbyLand kit, other kit or scratchbuilt? Inquiring minds would like to know....

Fly Fast! Mark

Very nice jets, I love em. Is the ME 262 a kit? Both look great, the inline MF 480 must make an awesome sound. Are both fans the same pitch? How about a rocket assisted launch? that would look cool! Great jets.

The powerplant is an RD-Jets TF480. Nothing, nothing to do with WeMoTech ...sorry.
Bruce, simply awesome...
I'll keep my fingers crossed...
Get me some pics
