My AM was maidened today. Flies like its on rails. VERY nice! A friend took it up twice and was doing flat spins and inverted flat spins with it. Incredible acrobatics are possible with this plane. Im a heli guy myself but this was alot of fun.

My setup:

12 x 6 prop
45 amp ESC
3S1P 3000mah lipo
Hacker A30-10L

Flight time is about 7-8 minutes.

Mine arrived today from Germany. Looks a really nice kit, just finished assembling my FunJet, so will probably get round to it over the weekend.

Gonna be using an Axi 2820-10, using 3s 5200mah lipo's, on an APC 11x5.5 prop (ripped from my Magister)

Pjotrrr, fantastic vid. Wish I could fly like that

Been building mine today, all glueing etc done. Just need to put the undercarriage on, put the motor and RX in, and add the stickers and I'm good to go.

Can't believe how much better the multiplex stuff gets. That was an absolute pleasure to build, the quality and fit of the parts, their kits really are now beginning to remind me of lego!

Setup is Axi 2820/12 on 4s PolyQuest 3100/12-16C (275gr) with APC electric 12x6...
In Germany one is flying same motor/prop with 3s2200's or Kokam3s3200 (275gr) which are 20-30 C
I'm getting my Whatts out of the Volts with these older packs, he's getting the most out of the Amps of the newer packs
The (better) pilot is my brother, I shot the video, hope to make a video soon with our Nr1 pilot Derk van der Vecht
My 275 grams lipopack is in the normal place in the upper half of the accushaft, the plane also balances fine with an 135 grams 3s1800 in the lower part of the accushaft!

Edit: with shaft I meant to say the accu compartment...

Just completed mine. Pity the weather is awful here, so no way of maidening her for another 2 weeks (in France next week)

Does anyone have an FMS model for the acromaster?

Yes, great video. I was especially happy to see how well it flies slowly, as sometimes I'm in the mood for just going slow & smooth.

Thanks pjotorr :
With accushaft you mean this inclined bay in near the leading edge of the wing.
I beat you will notice differences in knife edge with different cg height.

Can it stop a knife edge into a hover? Knife edge loop? harrier and elevators?Comments please.

The accushaft is indeed the shaft from the top of the leading edge to th airintake under the prop.
For your other "pro" 3D questions we will have to wait 'till Bert and Derk van der Vecht will try some more....

Some building pics from another Dutch modeller:

Not so "Pro" , its only that Im tired of advertising about how good a model is .

For me an aerobatic model has to be small rudder coupled . The harrier and 3d stuff is to qualify as a "good" 3d model.

When I wrote an email to Multiplex a few weeks ago asking this question, they told me that they would not be creating an FMS model. That's too bad because that's one thing I've really liked about Multiplex products - being able to practice at home at night or rainy days.

FMS is not capable for good 3D flight simulation like Aerofly Pro Deluxe can do, could be the reason they won't publish this one?
