Roger that. For just that reason I still have a Graupner Funky Chicken with wing mounted bomb...errr...egg drops. Lots of fun and lots of attention when I fly it...and it flies pretty darn good too on just elevator and rudder.

Bobber and SII; I can't help right now with firm figures on power system as the motor is firmly mounted in the AM and the wires are too short to clip my instruments into or around. I have yet to try the 12"x6 prop.

Gene have you any pictures to show the fences ? My CG was at 125 and i have found the flying far from smooth so i have increased the motor size to bring the CG right up to 108mm . I hope to get a test fly tonight and see what happens .

Woohoo I picked up my AM at the post office tonight! After training night we flew the Easystar well into the night against a full yellow moon with one red and one white LED on the nose. Flight was over 45 minutes!

Hi flew the AM last night the heavier 450watt motor has va va voom . CG is spot on 110mm and this is a whole lot different plane . I didnot go to low down as im awaiting the new AM but knife edge , harriers , roling harriers were all rock solid . I think the moving back and up of the battery has improved the lateral balance hence the wing rock is alot less . Roll on Mr. postman

Is anyone flying with the Torque 2810-820 motor and 45amp airboss exc? Does anyone has an opinion or experience about how this would fly sport/pattern style? Battery is 2100mah 3cell. Thanks.

I'm powering my AcroMaster with the 2814-820, Phoenix 45, ParkBEC, TP2100-4S, APC 11x5.5E.

650 watts WOT with a battery fresh off the charger, settles down to around 600 even. 10 minutes of aggressive aerobatics with mixed throttle uses 1600-1700mAh and the battery pack gets no hotter than it gets in my pocket.

The performance is stunning.

As for it's pattern capabilities: Excellent! Flies neutral, goes right where I point it, and doesn't much care what direction that is (including straight up).
