Thanks for the "heads up". Nice looking bird. Wheel pants, concealed servo's, nice graphics, spinner, etc. It won't fly like my Kantana mini but it sure looks like a contender for the Typhoon. If anyone is interested in exporting the Acro Master to the U.S., I'm ready to buy one.

Converted specifications:
43 inch wingspan
45 in length
33.5 ounce AUW

Not yet, it's just presented on the Nurnberg Toy Fair, they talked about availability in May...
Maybe more on www.multiplex-rc.de in the coming week....
The Acro Master is designed by Martin Muller, winner of many German indoor 3D championships...

I don't know if they are pulling my leg or not, but I asked about the possibility of a 72" patternship after the easy glider was built. They said they are working on a 40% 3-D foamie with a 6 lb flying weight. Surely this isn't it?

40% at only 6lbs? Who was "they"?

i like it very much - and even more if it will be cheap as easygliders.
And, as a forward-swept wing lover, i like those "jets" too!! Go MPX!

I've seen talk about that on one of the forums. Can't remember what forum though. If my memory serves me, the guy working on that project is manufacturing other kits already in the US.
Definitely no mentioning of MPX in the stuff I read, that much I'm sure of.

I asked in the hitec/multiplex vendor forum, one of the reps answered.

I'm surprised no one has posted this yet. I was looking at the Multiplex European Website today and found more details on the new AcroMaster, including a great video. Here's the description and the link to the video. My only question is, what is a "Multiplex-like complete kit" vs a normal Multiplex complete kit.

Design: Martin Müller

For champions and "junior champs"!

Available from April on!

MULTIPLEX-like complete kit

Drive set recommendation:
(used for the video)
"Himax C 3516-1130"
11 x 5,5 APC prop, ESC: Phoenix 45 A
(3 LiPos, 3200 mAh)

Wingspan 1095 mm
Fuselage length 1150 mm
All-up weight min. 1020 g

VIDEO: AcroMaster (MPG 13 MB)
Pilot: Martin Müller

That looks like a winner also!

What is a comparable AXI to the "Himax" motor?
