Airtronics Stylus newbie needs help

I got a Stylus and I need help programing. For the most part, programing is very straight forward. I have had a RD8000 for over a year so I'm familiar with Airtronics.

I have a 7 channel receiver that I'm using for my 4 servo wing Sailplane (2 ail and 2 flaps). The only problem I have run into is that according to the manual, spoiler goes into channel 1 and right flap into 8. Well, since I am not using a spoiler and do not have an 8th channel on the rx, I would like to use channel 1 to drive the right flap.

Why is this so hard for manufacturers to do? Why not have an Assign Channel in the menu?

OK, anyway, how do I do this? I tried to do a c-mix and set flap as master and spoiler as slave and set mix to 100%, always on.

Problem is that I can't get the reflex and camber trim to work on the rt flap.

What am I doing wrong?
Thanks
