My homebrew hotliner,picutres as promised.

Here is the hotliner I was telling you about on my post a few months ago. It's my homebrew and my first design and built from scratch. The wing is 8% RG15 balsa over foam with a 1/8" ply spar capped with carbon. The fuse is fiberglass lost foam method.Powered it first with sp400 with cosmotech 4.5:1 Gb and 7cell 600ae.But it was not making it fly like it shoul so I got a Kontronik drive 501 and it's a rocket. One time we flew for 20min. with power to spare but had to land because the wind was picking up.
Sadly I lost the plane because of a rotor in a field I was unfamilair with.I notice that I was loosing altitude more than normal when I shut the motor off so I brought it around to land it on a bad hunch. But I lost control on a turn around for the final,it was like dead stick I can't do any thing and went down.Good thing is I can recyle the wing but it will be shorter, just need to make a new fuse. But I'm ready for the next generation of this homebrew of mine.I'm going 2M this time with the same 501 on 10cell 1700's.I'll let you guys know when it rolls out from the shop.
