Greetings!
Check out the EAM site and/or the Electric Flight Products site. Other info on the Flash E-74 can be found at mvsaclub.com - click on [photos] and take a look at the Flash there. Excellent model - you won't be disappointed! Fly Fast! Mark |

T-33. Flies like a charm even on the stock setup. Does not look too bad either, http://aeneas.ps.uci.edu/edf/t33/pb280020.jpg [This message has been edited by Herb (edited 05-03-2001).] |

I second the E-74. Impressive power. No need for upgrades.
I also have a Kyosho T-33 and it definitely will make a good first EDF but my vote goes to the aforementioned. Ron |

i agree on the T-33 being the best bang for buck. also if will perform the same or better than the 74 on 10 cells, 1000scr. i have had both the F-16 and the T-33 and had many flights, traded them off to my flyin buddy and he is still flying the T-33 on 10 cells. 375 watts and 34 amps from what i remember the 33 is doing, that on a cut down midi rotor. less with the kyosho rotor. the F-16 met its demise, but man do we have some good tape, from flying the slope.

Sure these are not bad models. But I bet nothing can compete to this one as a really convincing model for edf-beginners
checkout the website of hoellein at http://www.hoellein.de Best cnc-cut parts on this planet, very easy to build, complete weight 850-900 gr., easy handling and (most important) self-hand-launching with s480 race and 8 cells is absolutely no problem. Uses all standard equipment as wemo 480, s480 race, kontronik rondo, graupner 261 servos and pico 4/5 receiver This was my first attempt to edfs and I'm fascinated. It all boils down to 'what flies, what don't'.
If the Alphajet flies well, hand launches with ease, what more could a beginning EDF flier ask for. However, my vote goes to the Bill Grigg's 'Electro Screamer' now sold through EAM. It's an all balsa, lazer cut kit which uses the inexpensive EDF400 from EJF or a Red Flame Blaster from HiLine, will fly on a 7cell 600AE pack, hand launches fine, will loop, axial roll. For less than $200 you can have a decent flying EDF plane. |

Once again I vote for the Minx, now that wemotec has a speed 300 fan that fits perfectly it make it a lot better as you do not have to make the fan. You do need to be a light builder and know how to cut foam, but it flies great, easy to launch aerobatic, great duration. Too bad no one kits it (plans built).
