anybody know anything about the E-bird?

I got the bird carbon for the slope and it rips. I have been thinking about getting the E fuse. probably would outfit it with a neu motor and 8 cell GP 2000 nimh or maybe a 3 cell 2100 TP prolite pack. anybody have one flying? what have you set yours up with?
here's mine on the slope, soon to become a multi purpose montser when I get the E fuse

Hey Aaron.Yuri is here.
I was thinking to get one of e-birds but ended up with Micro Flash.Which is cheaper.
With Mini Cyclon and 3 TP LiPos it rocks.
Where do you fly yours ,there is no slopes here in Beaverton?

Bird-E

Anyone know if 7xIB3800 will fit? How about 12xGP2200?
How about a 1506/1D/6.7?

Bird-e yeah!

My brother in law just picked one up. The carbon wingged version. I was just over his house helping him with the electronics setup. He's half-way through the build and basically only has to install the aileron servos & prop then fly.

His set-up is TP 2100 3S lipos, cc60, Neu 1105/2.5/4.4:1 GB, RF13x7 folders, & carbon turbo spinner. It is capable of 8-10 GP2200's but we went with the lipos incase he wants to mess with a GWS plane later he can do the battery swap. What a work of art this plane is! I'm thinking of getting one myself. It's 60 inch wing makes it a bit smaller than your average 71" hotliner but it's quite larger than a standard 30" pylon racer or even the 38" sunracer. His is the flapped version so it will be easier to land. This is his first hotliner.

I couldn't find any build threads on the internet or RCG so you'll have to build it based on your experience of building glass planes. If you have any cliffhanger questions let me know, maybe I can help. I'll try to get some pictures when we maiden it. I have Caleb and a Sirius both running 10-cell GP3300's so that's what I'll have to compare it to. It is ver light so I imagine this thing is going to scream! I'll be interested in its' speed retention capabilities.

kind of a waste on having a carbon wing with a very mild setup. i would stuff the hottest motor in that badboy.
