Whoops!

Well, I'm going to be out of commmison for a while

I had a lung collapse yesterday and am spending a few days in the hospital. I'm sure I will have to lay off physical activity so no throwing gliders or hiking on Zion. I will probably have to lay off the building as well due to dust and fumes.

They don't really know why it collapsed, but I have a hole in my side and a vacuum sucking on my lung all night. The vacuum is off but I still have the tube in my side.

I have a couple LJ48 kits made up ready to ship but the LJ60 and LJ72 may be released a bit later than the end of the month.

Holy Shnikees!! How did that happen? Were you just sitting around (probably cutting foam), and POOOF!! Collapsed lung??

Very scary Andrew. Best hopes for a quick recovery!

Happened on my commute to work. Nothing out of the ordinary at all. I coughed and then it started to hurt and continued to get worse until I went in to get checked out.

I've been told that thin guys in their 20's that are athletic are the demographic that has the most problems with this type of thing. They said it was probably a weak spot in my lung for some reason.

Take care Andrew! Lungs are nice things to have - so rest up and do what the doc's say to get your body back to full strength. Glad you got to a hospital! Let us know if you need anything...

Take care,

Hope that means non-athletic thin guys in their 30s are not at risk...

They took away the Morphine button so it's a bit uncomfortable now. I'm due for more Meds soon.
