Kontronik Fun-400-36 in a ProJeti

I'm thinking about putting a Kontronik BL Fun-400-36 with an 8 cell CP1300 pack and a 5.5x4.5 CAM Speed prop in a Projetti.

The 400-36 has a kv of 3600 (rpm/v). The Mega 16/15/3 has a kv of 3000. What do you guys think?

The only reason for the 400-36 is because I have one sitting here on my bench for a MF480 that is not being used. Think this is overkill, or will it work. Dimentions on the Kontronik are identical to the Mega 16/15/3. I may put this combo in my Zagi 400x first to test the waters...

The FUN400-36 is too hot for effcient direct drive, but if you want to try it, ensure your ESC and your batteries are up to the task providing the current. Jürgen

Well the KV is a factor of the cells, On 8 cells the 400-36 is only in the 200W range I think, so it sould be fairly tame, the 1300s should be up to it, and you will have an efficent light weight setup with good durration that should cook in the ProJeti.

My FUN400-28 with Cam 5.5x4.3 prop already draws 25A on 8 cells! The 400-36 will (want to) draw a lot more! Jürgen

Well, you can always add two more cells and drop the MF 480 in it!
