Hi, Findlay Ohio here. We've been thinking about getting a Pylon race going between some of the other clubs in the Ohio area. The idea is to use .40 trainers on a pylon race cource and a 4 to 6 man team. This would allow guys that have to get something done and cann't be there so someone else can cover the spot. New guys on the team are encourged, to get the sport down and learn the basics. Father and sons are encouraged to try there hand with it also. This would be the enty level spot. We are open to new ideas and any sugestions. We would like to see if any other clubs would like to get some teams going and we could go to your field one time then your team to ours. We hope to keep travel time to a couple hours. We can be to Detroit in 2 hrs and Dayton in 2hrs and some change. we were thinking of a second race class of sport planes or war birds. The idea is to keep the prices low for the planes and motors, but even out as much as possible. Any suggestions? Lets plan this out for next years season. Chris

If anyone is in the licking county area, there's a killer hobby shopt off Dayton Rd. : http://www.fastrakhobby.com/
Owner/operator Mike is a great guy and will get you set up with what you need.

I personally haven't flown there yet, but just down the road from the hobby shop is a flying field. They have a website too. : http://www.lcrcc.net/

Check it out to see if they are taking new members. It looks like a very nice place.

Both the flying field and Fastrak are very near the big Longaberger basket, if you know where that's at.

I fly out of my neighbors field mostly, so I haven't been there yet.

Enjoy the rest of build season fellow Ohioans!
