Flight Report: Hollywood Texan (GWS Zero conversion)

I finally got to fly my Hollywood Texan (GWS Zero conversion) this weekend. ... However, things didn't go so well.

My hand launch went well, solid toss, good tracking. Then the plane starts to quickly lurch left, then right, then left, then right, then more right, then into the ground...broken fuse.

First off, it'll be easy to repair. But I'm only able to guess at why the plane acted so funny. I have a strong suspicion that it was my aileron throws. I wasn't sure where they should be, so I set them up with my radio at 50% of maximum travel. This configuration resulted in 3/16" throw.

My next attempt at flying will have a setting that only allows for a 1/16" throw. Could go with 1/8", but I'll start more on the conservative side this time.

...I'll let you know how it turns out...
