Vip-1 with Himax 2015-4100
I want a fast little plane. I'm reading some post here and so far i think the Vip-1 will fit my need.
So i already have a Himax 2015-4100 with a 3s1100 LiPo. and a CC 25amp. from another 3d foamy plane. Do that engine will do the job?? And which prop do i buy??? Thx, Claude Perron |

I tried running that motor on the old Split 280 foam pylon racer on 2s. I tried 5x3 prop and 4.1x4.1 and never really got the performance I wanted and even on 2s those props were a bit much for the motor. If you really want to stick with that motor you may want to look at the Avionik Stinger, much smaller, lighter, and faster plane than the VIP.
