Thank you. Once again, Hobby Lobby has come through.
I started this thread because I did not like the idea of not being able to take advantage of a sale starting on a Wednesday morning when so many are at work and can't get to a computer.
I am already an Insider member. I apreciate your finding a way to include the Insider daytime working members.

I need some clarification. How were people able to look at things in advance. I have been on the insider list since January of 2004. I did get the email, but there were no links to the advance products, etc.? Just a question. (I'm thinking that maybe I need to receive the HTML message and not the plain text?)

I got outsmarted it seems! I ordered 2 last night on different credit cards and shipping addys as I thought you could only purchase 1 plane at the crash sale. Today it says you can order up to 5??

Sorry, but it had a limit of 5 last night. We will try and combine your orders, but if we can't just let us know and we will credit you $7.99 for one of the shipping charges. Tell them Eric said so.

Every week things will be just a little different depending on what we have to sell. Pay attention my friends.

Eric, try as I might last night when I set the quanity to anything more then "1" it would reset the number back to "1" when the page refreshed.

Believe me, I'm NOT complaining as this bird is a STEAL at this price.

With the advent of lighter packs, stronger motors and at a cheaper price then ever these larger foamies sure make more sense then they did 5 years ago!

Any chance you might get the FW-190 Scorpio kit in? It would go great with my Scorpio Spitty!

Well Done once again Eric!

When you hit refresh it does put back to 1. If you continue in the order process it retains the original quantity. Email me your confirmation numbers. This will help us locate the orders.

Has anyone flown this plane? Looks very similar to the GWS foam planes which I wasn't impressed with.

One thread on a Scorpio suggested using light fiberglass on it.

The scorpio warbirds are larger then the GWS models. They are also a hollow foam construction that is very light. Treated with .50 glass and WBPU they become fairly rugged.

IMO stock they fly BETTER then a GWS warbird.

Eric, thanks for the info and "You have Mail!"

I received your email. We will try and locate and combine for a single shipping charge.

"Seriously, are we going to see any more of these Scorpio kits anytime soon? Just wondering if I need to make more room in my attic"

In answer to your question about what's coming. I won't tell. However, you should always save room in your attic for more HL planes.

Dan, Jason, and Eric:

Could you guys take another stab at explaining how this "crash sale" thing works? I don't know about anybody else, but I am thoroughly confused. I registered for email notification, but I got an email on Tuesday that showed the Hellcat as a "crash" item, but had no information about the price. I was also confused because I thought the sales were supposed to be on Wednesdays. Can you explain again how this works. When is the item announced, when is the price announced, and when do we have to order it to get the sale price? Thanks.

PS: Apparently, I was not alone in my confusion. See:
