As much as I want this one..... I just can't drop that kind of coin on that model.

Currently building the SureFlite Version.

Maybe there's no video because it won't fly. I have no experience with FS planes, but from what I've read here they can be tricky to make airworthy.

Nahh I don't buy that. I saw one a few weeks ago that was built for a magazine article. Since then the weather here has been lousy/windy/cold.

Ill bet you will see a video very soon.

Great looking model, just out of my league in cost.

I'm sure that is the reason why. Usually when HL posts a new plane, the video goes up a few days later.

I was just kidding, I'm sure it can fly. Still, there have been issues with FSK planes in the past, the P40 comes to mind foremost.

Mine flies just fine, too. Someone has a problem with a plane and next thing ya know it's some kind of conspiracy. FSK is top-notch!

I agree. I have heard so many great things about the FSK p-40 then all of a sudden someone reputable makes a post that it is lousy so now everyone assumes it is crap. I just recieved my first FS model for christmas(Bf-109G-14) and I will say it is not made with the precision of the Alfa models but when assembled by someone who knows pretty basic aerodynamics it can easily be assembled and fly beatifully. I am overall very happy with my bf-109G although its not perfect, it's looks makeup for it.

How reputable is someone who throws an online tantrum and burns their model? I will seek opinions from those who don't resort to the antics of a six year old.

Looks like a very nice model.

Personally I don't find the cost prohibitive, for the time it would take to build it from plans/kit/scratch I couldn't even come close. I do enjoy building but prefer to build other stuff.

I have several FS and Alfa models and they all fly great. I have given up relying on the opinions of others as I have found that in the vast majority of cases there is some other issue and there is usually nothing wrong with the model. Occasionally a product might get to market that is not what it should be but for the most part these companies have too much invested to release a dog.

A few years ago a large company released a slimer model that caught all kinds of crap on the forums for its stall characteristics. I bought the kit and built it specifically because of the bad press. Flew like a dream.

FS and Alfa have excellent products IMO and I hope they continue to find the support they deserve, and keep releasing new models for us to enjoy.

Guess I'm just cheap!

99$ is my limit for a craft in this class.

I'll own it one day, it just might be a couple of years from now!!
