Seems like a good spot for some history.

Found these chip charts in a drawer, thought I'd share.
These paints disappeared years ago.

Those Maritime Colors are the ones I used on the trawler in my avatar. I have found that even though they were discontinued, you could find equivalents in their railroad colors.

Floquil always had great coverage and worked great for brush painting.

I remember those and a few others, hated to see them go. I prefered the Floquil paints to all the others. When I built my ironclad they had discontinued the charcoal iron. I called them and they gave me the formula to it which were combinations of thier current colors.

¿Por Qué No?
I like the AutoAir colors paint ( AutoBorne Sealers, Semi Opaque and alittle painting with Transparent. All work well. I do a little mixing sometimes and it works nice, too.

Reminds me of my old Model Allied Publications (MAP) Catalogs (1970s). Many of the same photos, and familiar names. Two changes -- color for some illustrations, and the prices. Glad I stockpiled when I did!
