Great Planes U-Can-Do EP ARF????

what do you all think of this plane.. it looks really cool, and i am thinking of getting one. i haven't flown in quite a while, and this plane looks like the one to get back into the swing of things. i already have the radio, battery that it recommends, and charger. i will need to get new servos, and the other stuff that it needs.

the people that have this plane, how well do you like it? can this plane take plenty of abuse? what are some things i need to be aware of? i think you all know where i am going at.

i am relying on you guys so don't let me down! LOL

Do a search on the plane here on the forum. Also look at the GP Yak flexflight. Some seem to think it is an improvement over the UCD 3D. I'm considering the Yak myself!

Hated it

In fairness, there are people who like this model, but count me out. Yes, it will fly, but not as well as I wanted, and no, it is not as crashproof as they would lead you to believe. The flying surfaces flex and can stand a lot of abuse, but the fuselage is fragile and if you crash the battery tends to bash its way right through it. There are lots of better choices out there.

Yes it looks good. Not a bad motor gearbox for a brushed setup. I found the plane to be quite weak, the fus just in front of and under the wing. I also had some building issues. I think you can do better, but not horrible either.

I've also heard that the Yak is a great improvement over the u-can-do. I've seen a ucando that a kid at my school flies, and the foam is tearing at the zipper.

As another U-can-do ep owner, the answer is "Yes; Yak."
