Familiar with that problem and I fixed it right away as soon as I powered it up for the first second or two. What turned me off the sale was the sound of 5 lbs of gravel in the gearbox after I'd fixed the rotor drive problem. Easily 10 times as loud as my BR. It REALLY sounded horrid.
Because there was a lot of dust on the rotors, I suspect it may have been "demo'ed" by some of the store employees and run for who knows how long without proper lubrication. Who knows, maybe it was a returned item that "Little Johnny" got tired of!
I'll just wait for awhile and continue to enjoy my original BR with all the mods. In fact, I've been meaning to solder in a new kokam 340 for several months now due to declining flight times and after I finish this post, I'll head down to the workbench and get at it.
