What's on your workbench?

So now that we are into the cold dark winter months, what's everyone up to? I'm just typing up a website and doing school work .

Post pictures if you can.....

My Thor alfa is done. Just awaiting sea trials.

Hi everyone,

well, I'm at my first build in RC Submarines, and it is a 1/96 ThorDesigns Permit with scratch-built WTC using the RCABS and of the same type (although adapted to use all-axial compression on all the seals and very little use of a lathe) Dave Welch used for the Trumpeter Seawolf.
The hull/appendages are finished and the main hull is primed, while the I'm still fabricating the parts (end caps from poured urethane resin, flanges for the central tube section, propeller shaft bearing and simmerring holder) for the WTC.
At the moment I got done the PVC sections, the internal rails to support the equipment tray, and the equipment tray itself.
I'll post pictures as soon as possible!

Well, I've so many models on the go just now. Really need to concentrate on one. For subs its a SWM Trenchant (really nice) which is my first foray into gas/compressed air. I have two Akulas, an old Edne boat and an Engel one, got a few hulls in the loft, an OTW XXIII, and Upholder, also an old engel IXD2. At the moment I'm mucking about with plastic models in the form of a 1/16th scale Pzkw V Tiger Ausf E. I want to get the Trenchant done, but what with so many family committments this season, I'm rarley in the house.

I am ashamed to report that I have sold my only 2 operational boats. On the bench is my Engel Typhoon and Trumpeter Kilo conversion (both nearing completion) . On the shelf is Revell Type VIIc conversion. On the way hopefully is a SWM Blueback (quick build) and Sheerline Trafalgar (I am going to take my time detailing this one).

You're not wrong!

This is the OTW Kit, complete with Brass etch deck, Accurate armour fittings &a Scratch built Tower conversion to house a Quad AA gun, salvaged from a Tamiya kit.

strictly speaking she doesnt represent a specific U boat, but is based on U1305, but not sure about the paint job, I just liked it!

She's just over 7 feet long & weighs a ton. I've fitted her with a Sheerline WTC, so power is from a 12v gell in the wet compartment.

I also have a torpedo system for her, but that wont be fitted until next year.
