what motor for trex 450 xl

I have a trex xl cde with 3s 2100mah 20c lipo and a 400lf 2800kv motor and 11t pinion. This isn't even near giving me the power i want so i'm searching something better, these are my current options give me your opinion:
rcer Warp 4 3t
align 430l
justgofly 450th
not so known: Hyperion yh22 xl http://www.aircraft-world.com/shopexd.asp?id=3667

Any other suggestions? I'm not planning to spend more then $70...

I would look at the Neu or the Aon also.

Have you thought of changing the pinion before buying a new motor? 2800 Kv motor on an 11-tooth pinion seems like the culprit to me. 13T seems more appropriate I'd think, or maybe even a 14T if you want to push it. Your battery seems capable so I bet you can get a large jump in performance for just a $2 part.

I would go with the Aon 3500 too. I have both the 3000 and the 3500 and they both are giving me all the power i need...and they dont bog down at 14* pitch

i run the Mega 16/15/3 currently but i feel the best motor all around is the 430 from ALIGN.....i honestly dont see much if any power differences between the two...but the 430 is considerably lighter and draws less current...so in my book that equals teh winnar!!!.....lol....My SE is coming with the 430/35G combo...but my HDE will keep the mega/CC35 combo.....just cuz....

I need to try one of those megas. They can take TONS of currant, and for me, that means i get my crazy fast head speeds when i use a big pinion on it I have a 16/15/4 laying on the bench...

Untill I swapped motors I ran the 400LF on 15T pinion which is no problem at least for sportflying. Would give you quite a bit more HS but won't turn it into a rocket.

So far 430l is winning the poll...
I need a new gyro so i'll order it all in one and get som cf blades as well.
I'll also try the 400lf with 13t an 15t we'll see what it does.
