Thanks! That did the trick!
Got them on file for when I get caught up on current projects.
I flew in one of those in the 70's

These are really good Acad drawings! Well done Azz!

While it is possible to do the 3D for the canopy in Acad I would carve a solid one on the fuse then use it for the canopy blow molding plug develpment. Otherwise look at getting someone with SolidWerks or Pro-E experiance to generate a 3D for you.

I might resize the material for a US build if you don't mind.

How are you guys getting this file? I click on the link above and my box wants to save the file as a .rar file and then I have nothing that can open it.......and where is the .dxf file??????

Just started cutting the ribs...

SoCal, I make the canopy the same way so I don't think the 3D-view is needed!
And of course you can resize it, as long as it's bieng useful to someone I'm happy

Dear friends,

The Sky Bench ASW 18 kit will be about $175.00 for laser parts made from selected balsawood and high grade Russian plywood including a high quality canopy and cad plan. It is true scale and engineered for strength with a thick enough wing section to handle the high aspect ratio. I plan to do a build thread on RC Groups and fly it at my Wood Crafters 2006 event Memorial Day weekend.

Nothing but fun at Wood Crafters 06

I have had the model pilot that will sit in my ASK 18 for a long time, sitting on the shelf just....... waiting for the day.

Azz,

I doubt that Ray will be buying a new house on the profit for his kit. There is a lot of work involved in setting up plans for laser cutting, bring in and sorting the aditional balsa, plan duplication and boxing. Just like there is alot of work cutting out each rib and bulkhead from your plans. Depends on if you have the time or you want to pay others for their time.

I either case the hobby is much richer today than it was before the release of your plans.

Now about the Ka-10....
