GP ElectriFly Corsair.

Typhoon 6/20 outrunner
2 cell Apogee 1500 mAh
APC 8x3.8 SF prop
Tsunami 10 ESC
10.25 Amps static WOT
14.5 oz. flying weight

Korean war era decals don't "match" the paint. But, they are of high enough quality that it would be a shame to not use them.

My smaller P38 is a Mountian Model laser cut kit.
The larger is a Raidentech ARF balsa kit. There is a thread on the Nitro/Raidentech P38 here in electric warbirds.

Camel & Nieuport kits

Proctor Enterprises has 1/6 scale kits for the Camel and the Nieuport 17 based on the old VK line that they acquired some time back,as well as a larger Nieuport 11 in the classic Proctor tradition. There is also a nice 1/6 scale Sopwith Strutter...

I have built and flown the Camel...used a 3-1 geared Astro 25 on 20 NiCd's, which shows you how long it has been around.

If you appreciate "real model building", Proctor kits are the way to go.

Occasionally, but not too much. Usually only when she has set up plans for people to come over. Often times, I also might have a couple of birds sitting on the airhockey table in the main living room too...LOL

If she has a couple friends over and theres planes on the pool table, she will simply move them to the dining room table to play pool and then put them back if Im not home. She doesnt go down in the basement much.

Bob...I've seen your Camel ( airplane that is ) although it looks great, it has one major problem...( it belongs to you and not me )

One day when I grow up, I'm gonna build me one .... WW1 stuff is my soft spot.
I did a scratch EV over last winter...1/4 scale. Bring the Camel up to the fly in and it can join in the formation fly we do each year...only WW1 models...last May we had I think 7 up at once.
