Thanks for all the kind words - I haven't posted much on RCGs so it's great to get such positive feedback. I definitely would sell her. Just did a range check yesterday with my flying buddy as I wanted to ensure there was no radio interference from all the aluminum. There are no problems with range. She's just at 5 lbs 8oz AUW with a 4S battery. Some weight, but she should be okay. All tail control rods are hidden linkages and I spent some time on the rivet detail. Rebuilt the .50s on her too. Split the canopy and put it on sliding rails as well.

Regarding the windshield - the FMS design is problematic. I did round off the bottom edge to get rid of the abrupt 90 degree point - I was totally frustrated by that as well!

By Murhy´s Laws, retracts are some diabolic mechanism designed so the lives of modelers; ( as well WWII ground crew an pilots ), doesn´t be so bored...
But in my humble opinion, when they doesn´t work property .... sometimes maybe the cause is Gremlims onboard....
At least some of my flying buddies are Kings of Belly Landings....

Likewise - Looks amazing Comstock. Tell me is each panel a separate piece of aluminium and what did you use to glue it on with please ?

I'll be putting together some specifics on the 'stang as well. And yes, Kaikokid, the panel lines are the result of separate aluminum panels.

That is perfect! Just the right amount of weathering, without looking overdone. Nice job!

Comstock i had to do a doubletake to make sure your plane was not a real P-51. That is easily the best I've seen. Looks like real aluminum....and I mean sheet metal not foil.

That has static display written all over it!

I agree, fantastic job Comstock, if you had taken that picture a little lower at ground level, it would be hard to tell that it wasn't a full size P-51.
