Dremel bit or other for cutting CF plate?

Any idea which one will cut CF and last of a significant period of time? I would like to be able to route out a part in .030 " CF plate. Other ways to make small parts from flat stock? Thanks

For limited use, the cut-off wheels are ok. If you want it to last, or especially if you need to cut complex shapes, then a diamond cutter is what you need. You can get them cheap at a place like Harbor-Freight. http://www.harborfreight.com/

Have fun!

Yup, definitly do it outside or something and wear a dust mask! A good idea if you have to do it inside would be to strap down a shopvac hose right next to where you are cutting. It should suck up most of the dust, especialy the dust in the air. But still wear a mask!
