Hmm, I'm not familiar with that kind of heli! I would not know your flying skills but itf you can master that heli,
(I mean master not fly around circles bouneing off walls!!) As long as its not a collective pitch, or gas I think you would do nicely!

Connection Type Info


Would like to request a link in the original post regarding the types of connections (deans, banana, etc.) and possibly info on how to solder these connections. Video's would be great too.

Hi everybody, I have been looking for Ni-mH batteries in my local dealers with little success but my local supermarket sells AAA Energizer batteries for home use which are 900mAh, my A-10 Warthog uses 650mAh, I made a battery pack using 8 AAAs with 900 mAh to get the same voltage as my factory 650mAh. Haven't gotten a chance to fully test the pack but do guys think its a good idea. I am in Africa and I have to be innovative at times, odering can be hustle.

Usually these batteries are not intended for RC use and may not give you the full capacity when drained so quickly. They may also get very hot during use. This happened to me when I tried to make an 8 cell pack from store bought batteries. It got so hot it melted the plastic battery pack that held it together. I'd recommend getting a dedicated battery pack that's intended for RC use. Try it first and see.

lol, man, this happened just before I saw your post, plugged them in last night, ran full throttle, and man did they get hot, glue on the plastic holder for them melted, almost too hot to touch, guess I have extra batteries for the remote now, 8 of them lol.
